Manufactured from high-vanadium HSS-E to provide long and consistent life, Widia's Spiral Point taps are the ideal tap for through holes. The unique geometries create both a low tapping torque and the ability to tap through a variety of materials. Coated HSS-E substrate with Tin PVD layer, for use in multiple applications, including steel, stainless steel, ductile cast iron and cast aluminium.
- Ideal for mild steel, but also suitable for stainless steel, aluminium, and cast iron.
